Position Overview
We are looking for a seasoned frontend engineer, to join our growing team, who specializes in client side software application development - Single/multi page webapp, etc. with a passion for writing test-driven code. In this role you will be primarily working in React, Typescript libraries/languages on existing code bases or creating new applications as required.
Responsibilities- Build robust and scalable client side software and services in React, Typescript, etc.
- Help improve our code quality through writing unit and functional tests, improving coding standards and performing code reviews.
- Work with the product and design teams to understand business goals, end-user requirements and then translate that into a beautiful and efficient frontend application that will be used by millions of users.
- Work with backend engineers to integrate backend business logic, REST APIs with the frontend web apps/dapps.
- Integrate with web3 libraries and sdks like EtherJS, Polkadot{JS}, etc.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas to improve our product and technology.
- Document decisions and its future impacts.
- Join sprints and scrum calls with our cross-regional team for successful delivery of product.
- Guide and mentor junior developers.
- 5+ years of recent coding experience in writing React and Typescript web applications and/or dapps.
- Experience working with NoSQL databases like MongoDB.
- Solid software design knowledge â you should know how to create software thatâs extensible, reusable and meets desired architectural objectives.
- Passionate about solving complex problems and take pride in their code and development standards.
- Effective communication skills: Regularly achieve consensus with peers, and provide clear status updates.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Experience with full stack development
- Experience developing Solidity smart contracts
- Familiarity with blockchain and web3 technologies
