- Tech degree or equivalent experience
- Advanced PHP & MySQL knowledge
- Minimum 3 years of WordPress custom theme and plugin development experience
- Excellent knowledge of the web building blocks (HTML5 / CSS3 / Javascript )
- Responsive web development knowledge using Bootstrap
- Working knowledge of GIT
- Experience with cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness
- Experience consuming REST APIs
- Good understanding of Web Accessibility and security
- Passionate about self-improvement and web technologies
- Strong English communication skills (written & verbal)
- Ability to address change with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn new ways
Nice to have skills:
- Experience working with front end frameworks like React
- Experience with Node.js
- Experience with gitflow or similar branching models
- Experience building REST APIs
- A working understanding of Webpack
- Experience working in a fast-paced work environment
- Experience working remotely
